School Program Feature- Map and Compass
Austin Road Elementary will be joining us this week for the featured school program, Map and Compass. Students are introduced to basic orienteering in an engaging and exciting way. Using maps and compasses through teamwork, students navigate through an established course in the woods. This active program has students up and out in the woods - exercise and fresh air enrich the learning experience!
The Jolly Rovers at Teatown
Teatown welcomed the Jolly Rovers Trail Crew last weekend to continue construction of a short front country trail in Wildflower Woods. The trail consists of a long stone staircase through a boulder field to a viewing area. The picturesque viewing area is complete with stone benches and tables overlooking Teatown lake.

Annual Members Meeting Recap
On Sunday, November 17, Teatown hosted its annual meeting for its members. About 40 people attended and learned about our accomplishments over the past year, including the success of our first Teatown Environmental Science Academy and our Camp Alumni Event, as well as recent stewardship initiatives on our property. New board members Theresa Killman, Benno Rosenwald, Marcia Saunders, Jason Shaplen and Glenn Vogt were voted onto the board and several of our dedicated board members completed their tenure that evening- Berl Brechner, Lisa Shaplen and Leo Wiegman.

Board Chair Naomi Marrow completed her term and Joanne Landau began her tenure as Teatown's new board chair. Naomi was also the recipient of this year's Eileen Argenziano Award in recognition of her outstanding service during her tenure.

Thank you to all of our members who attended. We are grateful to our outgoing board members for their time and steadfast support and to those who are engaging in our work.
